I got here on Sunday.. took a 7 hour CRAZY bus ride on monday. (mom close your eyes) that involved sometimes feeling the bus would literally tip over, brakes that sound like they would never work, curvy mtn roads and passing on the roads you would never do at home (watch the worlds most dangerous roads.. you will see it). Got here to the mountains and along with the retreat team prepared for the folks to come.
God brought about 25 people to this place that spend their lives and ministries working on the issue of human trafficking in nepal. Did you know every 3 minutes a precious nepalese lady is sold into sex labor. Wow. These workers are combating that. So there are majority of nepalese people here, a norweigan and a swedish friend, and several americans.. all here to learn about sabbath rest. What an honor.
I really know God showed up. He did. I love how He comes to minister to those ministering. Please keep praying that God will use the words I have to bring from His word to sustain their battle weary hearts– even if they did not know they were battle weary.
I have been blessed. I cannot wait to share on here some of the stories I have heard.. stories of people literally risking their lives to rescue to just one woman. As i listen.. I am again grateful that jesus literally risked His life to rescue just even one.. ! wow. Anyways– I will be doing this retreat unti Friday.. pray God continues to move through the sessions, through the fellowship, through the worship and through me as I am providing counseling to whoever wants.
Also praise GOD: As soon as I stepped back in nepal the nepalese language came fluently back to me.. glory glory glory! mahima mahima mahima!
